Only In Boston…

See, now, I think this is perfectly reasonable.

“The timing couldn’t be better for the Red Sox. Tim Wakefield is pitching for the Red Sox in Monday’s clash against the Yankees at Fenway Park and Bard had well-chronicled struggles (10 passed balls) handling Wakefield’s knuckleball.

The Red Sox are hoping that Mirabelli will arrive from the West Coast — the Padres are in San Francisco to play the Giants — in time to start Monday’s game. Manager Terry Francona has written out two lineup cards to choose from: one with Mirabelli batting eighth, another with regular catcher Jason Varitek slated to start.

Red Sox GM Theo Epstein said that Mirabelli’s flight is scheduled to land in Boston shortly after 6 p.m., after which he will receive a police escort to Fenway Park.” (emphasis mine)

I can’t WAIT to hear how the Fenway Faithful recieve that rat-bastid traitor, Johnny Damon.

Oh, man! What a great present! You can’t get tickets to a game up here for love or money. I’m thinking of going to Toronto at some point to see them. Damon – zero for four. Sweeeeeet.

The sweetest sound I’ve ever heard was a stadium full of Sox fans uniting in a resounding “Booo-ooo!” for Damon as he approached the plate at Fenway, all clean-shaven and clad in a Yankees uniform.Go Sox!

Did you read Jackie Mullen’s piece in the Globe? She was chastising everyone for booing. Y’know what, Jackie? Shut UP. You obviously don’t know the depth of hatred this town has for the Yankees and those who transfer allegience to them. Chastised. FFS, what is this, friggin’ grammar school??!

The Yankees are garbage. Damon is garbage for acting like he gave a shit about Boston and then crossing over to the Dark Side. I booed Damon from my couch. I’ll boo him every time. Garbage.Sigh … I can’t believe I’m in love with a Yankees fan.

Of course there won’t be a curse, Joke. He left. Of his own free will. And went to the fucking Yankees. You can’t curse what you voluntarily leave. Well, you can, but it doesn’t do any good. And Kerri? I can’t either. It’s just a good thing that he’s a nice guy, otherwise I would seriously question your sanity and level of commitment.
